What is Linear Water Leak Detection?

Linear water leak detection simply uses a cable that is sensitive to water and water based liquids.  When water comes in contact with the leak detection cable an alarm is generated.  The Water Linear Leak Detection System is specifically designed for water based leak detection in concealed areas or any place a leak must be immediately identified. 

1. Spot detection—for areas where fluid is contained, such as small rooms, air conditioning drip pans, and around floor drains. 
2. Zone Detection—for open areas where the path of a potential leak cannot be clearly defined. ( Single-zone,Multi-zone,Distance Read Systems )

LD1500 As RLE’s most cost-effective distance-read water leak detection panel, the LD1500 integrates easily into existing monitoring or management systems. The LD1500 detects and reports the presence of any conductive fluid along the length of SeaHawk Leak Detection Cable (sensing cable) and identifies the distance to the leak. Multiple LD1500’s can connect to RLE’s' LD2000 or LD5100, allowing the LD2000 or LD5100 to identify and annunciate multiple, simultaneous leaks. Product catalog

The LD2000 is one of the market's first Web-accessible distance read leak detection panels. Accommodating up to 5,000 feet (1524 m) of SeaHawk Leak Detection Cable (sensing cable), the LD2000 detects and reports the presence of any conductive fluid along the length of the cable and identifies the distance to the leak. The LD2000 can easily integrate into an existing building management system (BMS) and network management system (NMS) or be configured for direct alarm notification via email. Product catalog

The LD5100 is ideal for applications that require a stand-alone system that can also be easily integrated into an alarm monitoring and notification system. Accommodating up to 5,000 feet (1524 m) of SeaHawk Leak Detection Cable (sensing cable), the LD5100 detects and reports the presence of any conductive fluid along the length of the cable and identifies the distance to the leak. Sensing Cable (Leak Detection Cable)

Sea Hawk sensing cable (leak detection cable) reliably senses the presence of any conductive fluid (water, alcohol. glycol, and more). The sensing cable is durable, easy to clean, fast drying, and able to resist damage from most contaminants. The cable’s abrasion-resistant polymer core increases its strength and durability.
